Transfer from Chamonix to Entrêves next to Courmayeur (30min).

Take off from the helicopter base to the Col Infranchissable (3349 m).
Ascent of the Dômes de Miages ( 3670 m), hiking up with the skins or snowshoes. An easy walk (245 m change in altitude) going up on the Glacier de Tré la Tête will lead us to the Col des Dômes. Then a breathtaking route guides us to the summit of Dômes de Miages. Sometimes, depending on the snow conditions, crampons may be necessary for this last part of the walk. Magnificient panorama on the Mont-Blanc and the Sallanches valley. The descent goes down the Glacier d’Armancette to the hamlet of la Frasse in Contamines Montjoie (1250 m).
This is an unforgettable day…

CHANGE IN ALTITUDE : 321 m going up – 2420 going down.

Lunch in Les Contamines. Transfer back to Chamonix (45 min).

Level Required : very good control of skis.Good physical shape for the hike.

Date : 15th January to 1st May.

Leaving from Chamonix around 7.00 am
Coming back to Chamonix around 4.00 p.m

Price 2008 : 1200 euros.
Only available as private booking (1 up to 4 persons).

Supervision and security : A high mountain guide is responsible for each outing and will therefore make any decisions and arrangements necessary to ensure that everything goes along smoothly ( the programm can be changed depending on snow conditions and group level).

We take care of the organization of your day ( the price includes) : Return transport to the site by van, the guide’s fees, provision of your safety equipment (transceiver,ABS backpack, harness, shovel and probe), the lunches and the purchase of lift tickets if necessary.

The price doesn’t includes : Personal equipment and beverage. Should we have to cancel one of the drops, this expense will be refunded.

What you need to bring : skis for randonnee (special banding), Poles; Snowshoes adaptable to shoes for snowboarder and board.Crampons.Mountain sun glasses. Warm and wind/waterproof mountain clothes, sun block for face and lips. Water bottle and snack food. Eg energy bars, nuts and raisins.
