Val di Thuile is the Italian valley located after Courmayeur on the right side. It links to Bourg Saint Maurice thanks to the Col du Petit Saint Bernard. Take off from La Thuile (1441m) up to the Testa du Ruitor (3236m). Beautiful panoramic viewpoint on the Val di Aosta. Ski descent on the glacier du Grand. Arrival at Le Croz (1499m).Transfer back to la Rosière, a ski resort on the french side (transfer by taxi). Back down to La Thuile skiing, with the possibility to do another great off-piste itinerary from Col de la Traverssette.

CHANGE IN ALTITUDE : 1987m plus 1440 on the slopes.

Lunch in the village called le Miroir.

LEVEL REQUIRED : Good control of skis. Not advisable for snowboarders (very flat part).

Dates : 15th January to 15th May.
(Every day in Private booking and the 3rd and the 10th of February in Group formula).

Every day in Private booking and in Group formula these following dates :
9th of February and 29th of March.

Prices 2008 : Private booking (1 up to 4 persons) :
1 drop : 1435 €
and in group formula(price per person) : 480 € (1 drop).

Leaving from Chamonix around 7.30 am
Coming back to Chamonix around 4.00 pm.

Supervision and security : A high mountain guide is responsible for each outing and will therefore make any decisions and arrangements necessary to ensure that everything goes along smoothly ( the programm can be changed depending on snow conditions and group level).

We take care of the organization of your day ( the price includes) : Return transport to the site in van, the guide’s fees, provision of your safety equipment (transceiver,ABS backpack, harness, shovel and probe), the lunches and the purchase of lift tickets if necessary.

The price doesn’t includes : Personal equipment and beverage. Should we have to cancel one of the drops, this expense will be refunded.

What you need to bring : skis or snowboard. Poles. Warm and wind/waterproof mountain clothes, sun block for face and lips. Water bottle and snack food. Eg energy bars, nuts and raisins.
