5 day course to climb Mont-Blanc « The 3 Mont-Blanc route »
Mont-Blanc climbing by the Traversée route : Mont-Blanc du Tacul, Mont Maudit, Mont-Blanc.
A more comfortable way to make the ascent. You will climb Mont-Blanc by the 3 Mont-Blanc route, alone with your guide. |
Programme :
Day 1 : Technical lesson on the Mer de Glace glacier about the use of crampons, walking while roped up and elementary knots. On this first day, a guide will take a maximum of 6 clients to pair off participants of similar level.
From this day, 1 guide for 1 participant.
Day 2 & Day 3 : You will test out these new skills in high altitude, hiking on a glacier, climbing a summit or a ridge ...

Mont-Blanc climbing : 1 guide for 1 participant .
Day 4 : Cable-car from Chamonix to the top of Aiguille du Midi (3842 m). A short descent with crampons get us to Les Cosmiques refuge (3613 m).
Day 5 : Ascent of Mont-Blanc du Tacul (4200 m), then the shoulder of Mont-Maudit (4280 m), Brenva Pass and summit of Mont-Blanc - 6 to 8 hours.
Return route via the same way or via Goûter refuge, depending on snow and glacier conditions.

Equipement : Warm pair of pants, warm jacket preferably with a hood, polar fleece and windbreaker with a hood, quality gloves and or mits, warm socks, gaiters, backpack ( 40 liters), altitude sunglasses and goggles, water bottle, headlamp, sunscreen lotion.
Specific equipement : Quality mountaineering boots , crampons, ice axe, harness, helmet.
Summer prices 2010 : 1690 € per person.
This price includes :
The high mountain guide, the cable-car & train; picnic & lunch, accomodation at the hut (Evening meal, bed, and breakfast).
Accommodation in Chamonix is at your charge.
Possibility ti rent the technical equipment : 115 Euros for 5 days :
high mountain boots, crampons, ice axe, harness, helmet
Tarif : 120 € / person. |
We ask the hereunder deposit payment at the reservation.
The remaining has to be paid 21 days before the beginning of the course.
