The program for this course is based on ‘snow, ice and mixed’ routes which are in excellent condition in winter, even better than in summer since the access to these routes often becomes hazardous due to the high summer temperatures.
Level required : this alpinism course is aimed at people with some experience in crampon usage and climbing. Number of people per guide : 1 guide to 2 people max from the second day. OUR EXCLUSIVE OFFER : 1 guide pour 2 people for the second and third day. Typical program : (this is an outline as the program varies according to the weather and the aims and abitilties of the group members) Day 1 : meet up, equipment check, ice climbing training ( ice walls, rope techniques, belay, progression……) Day 2 and 3 : High mountian route ( snow route, mixed or goulotte) Dates : every weekend ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Find out about the departures scheduled from Laurence :email . Rates winter : 2009 : 600 € / person. Dates : We propose it each end of week from mid of February to mid of May (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) But you can ask for some other days and we will do the best to find other people. optional accommodation in a hotel 190/pp (hotel 2**, half board, based on double room rates) accommodation in a gite : 90 € pp (gite or 1* hotel, per night bases on double room rates)
