> Days after days > November : La compagnie des Guides de Chamonix - version française

In November : Climbing trips.
Personal or professional trips ... November is the right month to discover the most beautiful climbing spots all around the world !
Yosemite, Utah, Marocco,Jordan,Turkey, Kalymnos ...

4 November : Grandes Jorasses North face  : Linceul.
Mythical ice route ( the last "great" first ascent done in classical technic ), the Linceul ( the "shroud") is an ambitious ascent.
Seldom in good conditions, the last steep slope is as hard for your calves as for your will !

The end of the gully.

The snow is still excellent.

but quite soon the ice appears.

Some demanding pitches for our calves !

A long and vanishing slope.

3 November : Super Couloir at the Mont-Blanc du Tacul.
Conditions up in the mountains are perfect right now !
As it's not too cold yet, the ice is quite soft and gullies are beautiful.

It's a real pleasure to start the
route with great conditions !

The first two pitches are really
easy going: perfect to wake-up !

First section :
we have to break the ice !

Last steep section and still soft ice !

Some rock climbing before reaching the "cockscomb"
and eventually the summit of Tacul.

The route, close to the Pointe Héléne.

View to the Aiguille du Midi.

The warm up is over !

it's getting steeper !

... and drier !
