February : Couloir Whymper at the Aiguille Verte.
La "Verte" , is the highest 4000 meters peak which is wholly french. It's a dream for any alpinist one problem though : no easy route to reach the summit and furthermore to come back ! Therefore, the "normal route" is the Whymper couloir, climbed for the first time in 1865, nowadays it's still an ambitious aim. |
