THE
TOUR
|

Each
tour has hisown detailed description , which is available
from the Compagnie.
The mountain huts are usually manned , providing hot meals,
drinks and bedding.
During the week before your departure, the guide responsible
will be in contact with you to advise you on equipment , and
help you prepare for the tour. |
THE GUIDE
The responsibility
for each tour rests with the high mountain guide.
He will make all the decisions and adjustement necessary for
a successfull trip. (modifying the route according to weather
conditions, the ability of the group, etc...)
Depending on the tour, the guide will take 4 - 6 people for
maximum safety.
It is for safety reasons that these rules are laid down by
the Guide Company of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. . |

ORGANIZATION
The
price for each tour includes :
- The hire of a mountain guide,
- Half-board in a mountain hut and a midday meal,
- The lifts, (telepheriques, cable - cars, etc...)
- Avalanche search monitors, from the time of departure to
the end of the tour.
The
price does not include :
- Personnal equipment,
- other meals and drinks.
- The return to Chamonix.

DETAILS :
The hire of equipment is possible if needed.
Tours demand a minimum of 4 people. A supplmeent of 15% is
required if only 3.
If you are more than 3 persons you can have your own private
english speaking guide and choose your own dates.
In the case of a tour being abandonned by the guide due to
bad weather conditions, avalanch risk, or an accident, part
of the fee will be reimbursed.
Remember, passports, personnal insurance, “Carte Neige”,
or FFME.(Insurance may be cancelled if necessary).
If you are a small group, the Company can help you organize
an individual more flexibal tour.
