Snowshoeing on the Mer de Glace

A tour that is accessible to everyone to discover the heart of the High Mountain.
You are a strong walker and would like to see the glaciers and the snow capped peaks up close, here is the perfect occasion, no particular skills required.

Snowshoeing at the Col du Géant

The Col du Géant is right on top of the Geant glacier at the foot of the Tour Ronde and on the east face of the Mont-Blanc du Tacul.
That means it is a glacial activity above the Vallée Blanche. You will walk roped up on the glacier and will have first hand views of the spectacular crevasses and seracs in this part of the mountains.

Night-out (1 evening)

The magic of the mountain on snow shoes revealed by the glow of you head lamp…. Or that of the moon ! followed by a good savoyard supper.
