Scheduled Group Trips
Discover some of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Alps with our guided group trips. In groups of up to 12 people, hike away from the crowds, observe wildlife and take in landscapes of glaciers, mountain lakes and views of the highest peaks in the Alps.
What Destinations Can I Explore on Our Guided Hiking Trips?
For over 200 years, the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix has developed an in-depth knowledge of the regions surrounding Mont Blanc. Our playground extends across Haute-Savoie and Savoie in France, the Aosta Valley in Italy and Valais in Switzerland.
The richness of this environment allows us to offer some of the most beautiful hiking routes in the Alps and introduce you to a living natural and cultural heritage that continues to evolve. From beginner hikers to seasoned trekkers, everyone can find an itinerary suited to their level among our group trips.
How Are Group Hiking Trips Organised?
Where should you go to see the most beautiful scenery? Where should you stay? How do you get your supplies? Hiking with the Compagnie des Guides means entrusting the organisation of your trip to mountain experts. Throughout the summer, we offer trips on fixed departure dates and with pre-planned itineraries: all you have to do is let us guide you through the mountains.
As part of a group of up to 8 or 12 people, depending on the trip, you’ll enjoy a friendly atmosphere and personalised advice from your guide. Joining a group trip also means sharing the costs and benefiting from a more affordable price. For greater flexibility, contact us to organise a private trip.
Who Are Our Group Hiking Trips For?
Our group hiking trips are designed for all hikers, from beginners dreaming of their first night in a tent to seasoned hikers ready to take on more challenging routes. Ranging from 2 to 15 days, our different programmes allow everyone to find a hiking trip suited to their level and expectations.
Mountain hiking is a physical activity that requires a minimum level of fitness. Trails involve both ascents and descents and can sometimes be rugged. It is therefore best to engage in regular physical activity so you can start your trip in good condition. If you are not quite ready, our half-day and full-day hikes offer a great way to build your experience step by step.
