The Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix will help you discover the incredible diversity of mountain life. Enjoy the exceptional beauty of the mountain landscapes of the Chamonix Valley and the Pays du Mont Blanc during a day hike. Whatever your experience and your form, our hikes suitable for the whole family will introduce you to mountain flora and fauna as well as places with a centuries-old history. Weekly program day trips

The detailed program is available in our premises, it changes every week on the basis of the following themes:

The mountain pastures of the Chamonix valley: Monday
At Vallorcine village, set off to meet the alpagiste. Between tradition and modernity, they will tell you about the evolution of mountain farming and you will enjoy a tasting of their local products. Elevation: 700m

Altitude lakes facing Mont Blanc: Tuesday
Hike to discover the mythical places that have made the reputation of the Chamonix Valley. Enjoy, facing Mont Blanc, exceptional panoramas and high-altitude lakes in which the snow-capped peaks are reflected. Elevation: 500m - 700m

The Glacier des Bossons: Wednesday
A hike to the foot of one of the longest glacial tongues in Europe. The melting has recently created an outstanding turquoise lake. Elevation: 700m.

New horizons: Thursday
Leave the Chamonix Valley for other mountains and landscapes. A selection of the most beautiful hikes in the Pays du Mont Blanc (Val Monjoie, Aravis, Haut Giffre ...) to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the High Savoyard: Elevation: 700m - 1000m

The Wolf's return : Friday
Since summer 2019, the wolf has returned to the Chamonix valley. Discover this animal whose cohabitation with humans has always divided the mountain community. Elevation: 1000m

GROUP BOOKING

The group formula associates people who do not necessarily know each other. It is ideal for people looking for group friendliness and attractive prices.

Guiding policy (group booking) : Group of 12 people maximum per guide

Prices 2023 (group booking) : 
Full day : 53€ per person
3 days or more : 50€ per person

PRIVATE BOOKING

A private boking is the historical relationship that binds a guide to their clients. It allows you to be alone or in a group of friends where your guide can organise your trip to your specific needs. It is undoubtedly the ideal formula to realize your projects because it guarantees you the maximum of comfort.

Dates (private booking) : See on-line booking

Meeting point (private booking) : Your guide will call you the evening before your trip around 6.30pm to organize the meeting time and place

Guiding policy (private booking) : Between 1 - 12 people per guide

Prices 2023 (private booking) :
Group from 1 to 4 people : 240 €
Group from 5 to 6 people : 250 €
Group from 7 to 8 people : 250 €
Group from 9 to 12 people : 260 €

Ability level :  The choice of destination adapted to your level is essential for you to fully enjoy your trip. A full day hiking trip is intended for people who practice regularly a sporting activity.

Formality : Make sure you have valid repatriation insurance for this activity
